September rolled in swiftly and smoothly, and so did My favorite day of the year, September 16th. I’m especially grateful when I see this day because it means I’ve successfully took another trip around the sun. And that was fine with Me, since I couldn’t take a trip anywhere this year, due to the COVID-19 2020 pandemic.
Nonetheless, the week of 9.16 was eventful. The night before, I went LIVE on Instagram for My new virtual talk show called “What’s Tea?”. The day of I had a photo shoot on the beach. And, the night of, My sweetest loves surprised Me at dinner. In true Virgo fashion, I had outfits on standby for each occasion. Coincidentally, they were all bought locally, in the Bahamas, from Bahamian clothing boutiques or Bahamian brands.

Spring Fashion is best known for Floral Prints & Appliqués, so when I got invited to the Pandora Bahamas 2nd Anniversary “Petals & Pumps” Mixer, I felt that I should bid Spring a farewell by wearing the theme… Petals & Pumps!
I don’t know about You but, I dress from my feet upward. So I already knew I wanted to wear my blue suede pumps. They’re my absolute favourite. I just needed a dress to compliment them.
Luckily for Me, there was a dress waiting at one of my favourite clothing stores in Nassau, Bahamas, JaDazzles!
No matter the occasion, JaDazzles always has an outfit that fits my body, and my style! Pumps check! Dress Check! I was on My way to the Pandora event.
Here’s what I wore:
- A Floral Bodycon Over-the-Shoulder Dress
- Blue Suede Liliana Pumps
- A Gold Metal Clutch (without the strap)
- Michael Kors Jewelry

If you’ve ever visited my Instagram page – @242blqrze, you’ve possibly wondered if I’m the same person in all of my pics.
I mean I look the same, but my style of dress changes so much. Whenever someone ask me to describe my style, I’m unable to give them a straightforward answer. But my honest answer would be similar to Rihanna’s at the 2017 Met Gala.
Andre’ Leon Talley asked her to “describe Avant Garde” in her world, “in music and fashion.” Rihanna then said, “I love Art, and I think its such a free range of expression and you can do whatever you want in that space… to be whatever you want, however you want.”
I feel the same way.
I don’t play instruments, I can’t draw. Style is My Art.
So last week, I wore “My Art”, to go admire some street art on my island. It’s a wall mural by Bahamian Artist June Collie entitled “The Beat Drum Club”. My outfit is perfect for saying “Hello” to Summer and “See You Later” to Spring!
Here’s what I wore:
- A White Off the Shoulder Bell Sleeve A-Line Dress
- Colourful Print Strapped Up Wedges
- Gold Disc Bib Necklace
- Assortment of Bracelets
- Vintage Blue Stone Ring
- A Native Bahamian Straw Handbag

Its been a while since I blogged about fashion and my outfit of the day.
The truth is I haven’t been putting on no outfits, and going anywhere in the day. I’ve been so consumed with my work schedule that my social life (not that I ever had much of one) declined and I wasn’t shopping for new clothes, because I haven’t worn my old ones yet.
I’ve been in this state for months, but Spring has a way of renewing things like flowers, houses, and mindsets. One such mindset was my own, and one day I decided I’m going to get dressed up, go out and Spring my life forward!
With a mix of old clothes and new accessories, here’s what I wore:
- Side Cut-Out Jeans Body Suit
- Green Tea Length Skirt
- Neon Pink Pineapple Clasp Belt
- Clear Strap Lucite Heels
- Custom-made “Bahama Mama” Pursenal Paradyse Wristlet
- Minimal Jewelry
This outfit works because my jeans body suit & lucite heels are neutral, while my belt and skirt adds colour to the look.
The Bahamas doesn’t really have seasons. It feels like Summer all year round, but being the fashion girl I am, I respect the seasons and their fashion trends.
Two of the biggest trends for Fall are floppy hats and fringe detail. See how I incorporated these trends in a recent outfit of the day, along with a another statement piece I bought for Fall… a long felt vest!
